Pisces Sportfishing report February 6-12, 2026

Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico
The second week of February was productive for most anglers. The winter weather was more spring-like with temperatures in the mid to high 70s, and anglers who visited Cabo were surprised and pleased to find the weather to be so agreeable, but even more so, to find the temperature inching toward summer numbers.
Almost all the boats were catching Dorado, a warm-water species, and most anglers had Dorado filets for dinner each evening. One of the Super Pangas caught (and released) fourteen Roosterfish between 30 and 38 pounds, thirteen Triggerfish, and eighteen Ladyfish. All in one day.
And there were sufficient Striped Marlin around to make it worthwhile for those anglers targeting that species. Add plenty of sunshine, warm weather, calm days, and little wind, and you have a very successful Cabo winter week.
