Despite the week being cooler and windier, which affected the fishing conditions, there was still decent action. Anglers found small schools of dorado in blue, warm water, and four dorado weighing between 15 and 20 pounds were caught using live bait and trolled lures and feathers. The rough waters did pose a challenge with live bait, as bait boats struggled to reach the bait spots. However, this didn’t deter the crew; they found plentiful bonito, providing good sport. Along the rocks and reefs, there was
good action on various species like snapper, jack crevalle, sierra, yellowtail, amberjack, and small roosterfish. The water temperature ranged from 70 to 72 F, and the air temperature was around 74 F. The wave height was 5-6 FT, and the wind conditions were 5MPH.
