What a pleasant surprise they had when they ran to the 95 Spot and caught and released Three Striped Marlin in the 100 to 120-pound range on bait and a trophy-sized, 47-pound Wahoo in the same area on a mackerel. I guess you have to be lucky and good, and it seems by choosing Captain Niko and Mate Erick, they were both of those.

With Captain Jose Ramon Alucano and Mate Carmelo running the show on the “REBECCA,” a 31-foot Bertram, the decision was made to head to fish in front of the La Ballena (the Whale).
